Kristi, You will find that new ideas will be recognized, with our new officers, so thanks for posting one! And this can be a place to post other ideas for the Club without censorship or a "no", before it is ever considered.
(Ei.) It was suggested by a member that dues for Juniors be $5, instead of the $15 that was imposed last year. While the Directors have final decision on dues, it would be good to have member input, now that it is welcomed. CJR
: Ric's flyer "The President's Press" got me thinking. Here is an idea I thought of for a new club motto if we feel the club may have outgrown it's original motto. Debbie Porter wrote three articles that are on the club website that all use the title "Let's Go Dutch."
: Doesn't that sound like a perfect motto for our club? We can add an exclamation point and make the motto, "Let's Go Dutch!" It is a way of rooting for the Dutch at shows, it's an expression of the history of our birds, it's a statement of telling the world we think they should all have Dutch bantams, and it's an expression that means let's "go in together" to accomplish something. I think we could even come up with more meanings that are appropriate for that expression.
